"How extraordinary!"

1st week of the school wasn't bad at all as i thought! Maybe its just me that always been predicting things that i couldn't careless. Had orientations for the junior last monday to Wednesday. I kinda feel bad for my team member tho. For a shy guy or maybe half but not fully anti social guy like me who wouldn't dare to voice out and entertain the new students. It just plain useless for me to be their ;l But i kinda like it when i play those ice breaker games with them tho.

Talking about juniors. I mean Vsc juniors, they were kinda interesting. When i was observing them. Its just like a deja vu to me. Some of them kinda have the same personality as my classmate. Kinda wish to pull some of them harder if they wish to haha. Wouldn't it be awesome?! But sadly i dont think i could fork out any time as some of my classmate need a help and i gotta complete my plans which is kinda importance..

Prepress class was a bomb + Kaya toast + cat screaming class for me. Its not a mess but its a mess in a good way. Having my new lecturer Mr roy was kinda interesting. He maybe serious and could gave me a good laugh in the next moment. His first assignment was to create a postcard within the time limit of 3hours. Which is a pain in the ass for me. Not about the time limit its just that im lack of research/concept what ever you call it! Can't blame it on my cca though. Its my responsibility to complete what i sign up for! Anyways talking about the assignment. It was a huge disaster for me to choose this background and text. Kinda felt im kinda too use to my 4 or a week time deadline. Maybe its time for me to be realistic on deadline.

My destop is dead.

Hi readers, my computer is dead and i cant do any graphic design or what on this netboook except using paint to draw... I'm pretty sad that all my assignment files from the beginning of the year are gone except the recent ones. But it's okay im gonna do a better job sooner or later.

Anyways I'll be getting a part time job this december holiday. Not gonna even think twice of getting a job in design related work. I'm gonna take one step at a time or maybe i should do some drawing portraits freelance. Gonna save $500 for my cpu and make magic happens again.

Oh yea these days i have been reading some books which is freaking awesome in a way that is so inspiring and teaches me how to be an awesome graphic designer. No im not reading design award books. Thats a no no for me. I need some soul searching book. I'm trying to avoid design book as much as possible and lecturers showcasing 2nd year works. Its such fuck up feeling seeing so many nice work my senior have done. Its like a downhill for your ego and yourself. So i NEED to avoid inorder to make me feel less shitty.

Major exam presentations.

Ugh. I'm probably speechless now that i don't even know what am i suppose to write about!
Last Tuesday was my presentations for my major assignment. I'm quite upset about my feedback from Miss Tan.
It isn't about the grades. She utterly told me my lady gaga look like a prostitute. I mean i don't really like hate her saying that but i actually took alot of time illustrating it from head to toe.
It would be better if she could tell me days before. It really hit me really down. Its feel as if you lost something you commit for days. She say she love those borders just dislike that prostitute. I'm probably not sure if i'm being too cocky or maybe she doesn't really like the circus theme concert and my concept.

So when i ask Mr lius(my ceramic and drawing lecturer) for advice.. He told me it wasn't that bad. And told me lots of idea. So i was wondering if i NEED to change it or not. He told me what if your art director ask don't like your concept? Are you not going to change then lost your job?! If you think its nice then don't change. But i'm not the one marking it so i suggest you to change or not depending on yourself. At that point i totally lost myself.

Remembering Mr Hairul(2nd year teacher) told me before that i have to do something that shouts me. Something my style. Something robin. Gosh I'm so lost right now that i could die any moment! And i don't really wanna mess up my major assignment. I don't wanna ruin my chance of getting bursaries.

Oh yea. Sorry for having my temporary trademarks on the pictures.
One particular classmate of mine is a graphic stealer.
Which i hope ms tan and other teachers don't blindly mark his work as if its his.
Not saying he steal my graphic or anything,

The thing is i doesn't seems to have time transfering it and digital it.
And recently i just get so much inspirations on bus ride
that i draw and focus until like a emo depressed bitch.
Probably cause when i draw i tend to squin my eyes.
Maybe that just me..

ohyea.. Soon you will get sick of seeing this after i illustrate her.

And soon you will notice some of my classmate drawing it on their sketchbook.
And soon it will become common.
And soon my new ideas come.
And it just goes round and round like cycle.

So i guess today wasn't a productive day.. Spend the whole morning looking for tutorials and stuffs till i get too much inspirations.

Oh yea lets talk about sketchbooks today.. I saw tons of sketchbook today(online). I utterly felt dam lousy. Comparing my doodles to them, mine was dam dirty, shitty, crappy what ever you call it! Too much empty space and it just don't look like a proper sketchbook.

So according to my observations.

What does it mean if a cat comes into your home?

Answer:

It means nothing, I'm sure people say it means bad luck but its not true its only bad luck when you give it the power for it to be bad. Just think people own cats everywhere and nothing bad happens. So it means nothing.

Answer:

It could mean they smelled food in your house and were attracted to it, or they are looking for a warm place. Cats like very warm places. Or they could be looking for a mate, if you have or have had a cat in your home before that they can still smell the scent of. Or it could just be the curiosity of cats; they like to explore new places.

Answer:

In my opinion, I think it means that it is either hungry or it a sign that it needs a home. If it did actually happen to you, then give it a home. But if you hate cats, find someone that will love it.

Answer:

It probably is a female cat. The cat may be pregnant and needs a warm cosy place as shelter for itself and for its offsprings.

Photography lesson is really draining me out.Not saying it is boring or what but i think there's something we are lack off. Not about the lecturers but i think its more on its facilities.Tho most probably we're having the best equipment but theres just too little time for us to use.
-Imagine you got 28 classmate sharing 2 studio, 1 for portrait shoot 1 for product shoot.
-Imagine it takes 40-50mins for a person to get a perfect shoots on each stations.
-4hours of class a day.
It will take ages for you to shoot~! Oh yea not forgetting the distractions probably you need to wait 1hours for each person to shoot. Some are just too nasty that they would come back again and again after they have finish shooting and at the end of the day you don't even have the chances to shoot. You can't blame them as they're your classmate so what you would do?
